The cast of The Expendables 2 is getting bigger and better.

John Travolta and Chuck Norris have been added to the list of stars for this explosive sequel.

The first movie was a surprise hit last year and the sequel was green-lighted right away.

Travolta and Norris join original co-stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis.

It is widely reported that Jean-Claude Van Damme will play a secondary villain in the film, with Willis the main baddie. Travolta could also be playing a villainous role like he has in the past in movies like Broken Arrow, Face/Off and Swordfish.

The script is being currently finished and being polished, but here is the plot as it stands right now…

As payback for taking out the CIA agent (Eric Roberts) in the first Expendables, Agent Church (Bruce Willis) forces the Expendables to do an “easy mission”: retrieve a missing CIA package from a civil war torn country in Easter Europe. The easy mission turns deadly when the Expendables are ambushed by a team of ruthless rival mercs, hired by Church, competing to get the same package.
