Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a cool dude. A very good actor, who can also sing and dance if need be.  But is he cool enough to make bike riding look hip?

It’s difficult for movies to make outdoor activities look interesting.

Surfing movies always take a back seat to the real star…the ocean. Skateboarding movies only make me want to drink Mountain Dew. And as for hiking/rock climbing movies…well, all I can think about is James Franco slowly slicing his arm off.

So what can Premium Rush give us? It’s hard to say, but the trailer does try its best.

Columbia Pictures has released the first trailer for David Koepp‘s chase thriller Premium Rush which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a bike messenger who somehow gets involved in a chase across New York City.
