Let’s just say I didn’t quite get the Hugh Jackman hype until now. Last night in Los Angeles, the highly anticipated Real Steel premiered and Jackman was looking quite the dapper gentleman in his suit and slicked back hair.
The premiere took place at the Universal City Walk Cinemas and brought out fans galore to get a glimpse of Jackman and the other celebrities who made a presence on the red carpet.
Co-stars Evangeline Lilly, Olga Fonda and director Shawn Levy cheesed it up for the shutter bugs. I must say that Lilly looked as if she bounced back quickly from the birth of her baby, but that dress? I’m not quite sure what she was thinking. Just because you are a mother doesn’t mean you HAVE to look overly matronly.
Also on the red carpet? Giant robots. In case you don’t know what the movie is about, this is a sci-fi flick that is set in the world of robot boxing. Thus, the clever appearance of robots at the premiere.
