Pop star PINK (also known as Alecia Moore) just snagged up her first huge movie role in Thanks For Sharing and it isn’t exactly a role I thought would be her first but hey, they needed someone to join the cast of sex addicts. Gwyneth Paltrow and Mark Ruffalo are heading up this film with other cast members including Tim Robbins, Patrick Fugit and Joely Richardson.

The synopsis? What we know is that it is about people brought together to recover from sex addition and in this movie this addiction exists.

So could this be another Oscar nomination for writer/director Stuart Blumberg and Ruffalo? And what does Blumberg say about Pink?

Blumberg says, “Alecia could not be a more ideal fit for this role. She carries with her just the right combination of heart and edginess for the part of Dede, and we’re incredibly excited to share her acting talent with audiences.”

Here’s hoping she nails it AND I hope she contributes to a soundtrack. Hint, hint.
