Happy Halloween VIP’ers!

Over the years, I have dressed up as some of my favorite movie characters of all-time. Whether it’s Patrick Bateman from American Psycho or the hitman Vincent from Collateral.

Here are my favorite Halloween costume ideas for characters from 2011 movies:

Driver (Ryan Gosling) from DRIVE- Pretty obscure costume, but I was very tempted to try it. What do you need? Besides looking as cool as Ryan Gosling? Denim jacket, white t-shirt, black skinny jeans, DKNY sunglasses, boots, dark driving gloves, and the hardest part of the costume… a white satin jacket with a gold scorpion logo.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) from THOR- Pretty easy costume, but you have to have a certain look. Get a blonde wig (although real long blonde hair would be perfect), grow a blonde beard, a big ass hammer, red cape, silver body armor. And please be tall and in good enough shape to pull this off. No one under 6’0 and no skinny or flabby guys should go as Thor.

Any bridesmaid from BRIDESMAIDS- Ok ladies, this one is for you. This was the surprise hit comedy of 2011. Every girl should be used to dressing up as a bridesmaid. If you are funny go as Kristen Wiig. If you are plus size, go as Melissa McCarthy. Since it’s Halloween, you ladies can do what you do best and turn it into a “sexy bridesmaid”.

Dr. Julia Harris (Jennifer Aniston) from HORRIBLE BOSSES- Sticking with the sexy theme, if you ladies have what it takes to pull this off then I salute you. Going as Jennifer Aniston from this movie requires rubber gloves, dark hair (up or down), dentist goggles, black lingerie and a banana/popsicle/hot dog.
