Tom Cruise made a rare talk show appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Cruise has been rather quiet on this press tour for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, letting his supporting cast get most of the spotlight. The movie has been getting excellent reviews, especially for Cruise’s death-defying stunt on top of the world’s tallest building in Dubai.
Letterman got Cruise to open up about his social life, some of those crazy stunts, hectic schedule (currently filming One Shot) and even his relationships with other actors like the late great Paul Newman and Cruise’s “rival” Brad Pitt.
Tom Cruise might be known for a lot of things (some good, some not so good), but he has always been considered to be one the nicest actors to work with on the set. He has been said to be very helpful and overly generous with the entire crew on the set. Which is why it always interested me to find out why he and Pitt were rumored to not get along on the set of 1994′s Interview With The Vampire.
Brad Pitt recently said that was the lowest point of his acting career, as he hated the experience of working on that movie. Cruise rarely talks about Vampire and really mentions Pitt…until now. And what he said had me pleasantly surprised.
