1. Untold Stories about Parker’s origin.

Film producer Avi Arad was very thrilled to tell the press that more surprises await Spidey’s fans this 2012. And if you think Garfield’s version is just another lame remake of the 2002 Sam Raimi movie, you might be barking up the wrong tree. This time, new twist in the story will unearth certain secrets about Parker’s untold past – - where he came from and who his real parents are.

“After three movies, we finally got the opportunity to tell what really started Peter Parker on his journey. The fact that he lost his parents. He doesn’t know what happened to them. No one talks about them,” the producer told reporters. “So we found a very, very good story about the true origin of what makes a human being, what sets their destiny.”

2. Spidey’s web-shooting  through mechanical devices.
Thanks to director Marc Webb, another twist has been created for Garfield’s amazing Spider-Man. From Sam Raimi’s version of Spidey who does web-shooting through special genetic capabilities, the new version of the arachnid superhero now boasts his own mechanical devices that do all the web-spinning powers.
3. Gwen Stacy is Peter Parker’s true love.
Gwen Stacy’s (Ema Stone) character was portrayed in the comics as the girl whom Peter Parker met in college and he had brief affair with. Unfortunately, she was killed by Green Goblin and was eventually replaced by Mary Jane as the apple of Spidey’s eyes, much to the disappointment of many Spider Man fans. Well,  no need to fret because Gwen Stacy is back in the limelight with, of course, romantic scenes  with Spidey that ladies will surely swoon over.
When asked if The Amazing Spider-Man  has something special  to offer like the  iconic upside down kiss in the first Spider-Man installment, Stone made an intriguing reply:

“You don’t want to know. You wanna watch the movie and find out,” said the actress, “but there is a nice first kiss and it’s different than the upside down one and we liked it.”
