For anyone who follows Russell Crowe on Twitter, you already know that the Oscar winning Aussie has been keeping his fans up to date on his new exercise routine and weight loss.

What he has failed to tell his fans, is that he will become a very busy actor once again. We haven’t seen Crowe since 2010′s The Next Three Days. A film that flopped, but I believe was one of 2010′s best and most underrated films.

He just finished up a small part in the new Superman movie, playing daddy Jor-El. He’s also almost done filming Broken City co-starring Mark Wahlberg and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

He starts work on the musical Les Miserables next month, with a Death Wish remake and a turn as legendary actor Richard Burton in Ron Howard’s next film Rush, all on the horizon.

But if that wasn’t enough, now comes word that he has his eyes on another potential project.

Harker, a “reimagining” of the Dracula story told through the eyes of Jonathan Harker. Crowe is in talks to play the lead role of Johnathan Harker (the man who survived his encounter with Count Dracula) who is now a Scotland Yard detective investigating a series of mysterious murders that lead him to believe that Count Dracula has committed them.

Crowe also is keeping a close eye on Darren Aronofsky’s big budget Bible epic, Noah. Christian Bale dropped out a few months ago and word is that replacement Michael Fassbender could be on the way out also.
