Gambit is the fifth Michael Caine movie to be remade.
The film is based on the 1966 British caper comedy. This time around Colin Firth takes over Caine’s role, while Cameron Diaz plays the Shirley MacLaine part.
An art curator (Firth) decides to seek revenge on his abusive boss (Alan Rickman) by conning him into buying a fake Monet, but his plan requires the help of an eccentric and unpredictable Texas rodeo queen (Diaz).
The movie will be released later this year.
