Denzel Washington is attached to star in The Equalizer, with Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) in the director’s chair.
This adaptation of the popular 1980′s TV show had been in development hell for awhile. Over the years many actors (Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Russell Crowe) have been in talks to play the lead character, Robert McCall.
Shooting is scheduled to begin within the first few months of 2013, with a release date set for April 11, 2014.
