He has been rumored to star in everything from Justice League to Godzilla to Guardians Of The Galaxy, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt will make his next film Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.

This sequel to the stylish drama that Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller created back in 2005, will be based on Miller’s graphic novel “A Dame To Kill For”.

Gordon-Levitt will play the role of Johnny, a part that the filmmakers originally offered to Johnny Depp. Actors returning for this sequel include Jessica Alba, Clive Owen, Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson.
