The Summer of 2014 just lost a huge potential blockbuster.
After years of previous delays, the production of the highly anticipated sequel Jurassic Park 4 has been further delayed.
“In coordination with filmmakers, Universal has decided to release ‘Jurassic Park 4′ at a later date giving the studio and filmmakers adequate time to bring audiences the best possible version of the fourth installment in Universal’s beloved franchise,” Universal said in a statement.
Steven Spielberg is set to produce and Universal is still looking for a director and screenwriter.
It was set for release on June 13, 2014, which would have been a month after the Godzilla remake’s release.
